There’s one thing that separates good artists from great artists  –

The quality of their music. GarageBand is fine, but it will only get you so far. If you want to level up your game, the importance of an expertly mixed track must never be underestimated. Between the three of us, who you’ll meet below, we’ll do whatever it takes to make your beats the best they can be – in a cost-effective way. Each of us brings a unique yet indispensable skill set to the table to sharpen your sound.  That's where we come in!

Threadbare Music

Threadbare Music is the name, and professional music creation is the game. We’re a triple-threat team of three passionate and deeply experienced musicians, guiding artists on the path to musical prosperity. Our job as a Music Production and Recording Studio is to strengthen the sound of up-and-coming independent artists. Whether you need a professional mix for an album, film, TV show, ad, podcast – you name it – we can help. While we’re serious about our work, we don’t take ourselves too seriously – recording great beats in a fun and positive atmosphere.

Nestled in the heart of Long Island City, NY, we’re just a beat away from the Court Square 7, E, G, and M Trains, the 21st St. Queensbridge F Train, the Queensboro Plaza N and W Trains, and the B32 bus from Williamsburg. Please feel free to fill out the form below so we can learn more about who you are, where you are now, where you need to be, and what it will take to get there.
